About me & my work
Hi! I’m Stijn, a multidisciplinary creative active as photographer, visual artist & creative consultant. After earning a master’s degree in International Business from Maastricht University and a successful international music career as a DJ/Producer (2008–2016), I transitioned into photography and design (2017–present). In 2024 I started experimenting with painting and mixed media art. Born from two parents with a degree from Art College and both former parttime artists, my route has been mainly autodidact.
My work focuses on creating visually striking images and experiences. It’s about finding order in complexity and uncovering beauty in the ordinary. Main elements to charaterize my work are vibrant simplicity, contrasts, and fresh perspectives. I create to discover my place in the world, forge my path and find meaning, but also to collaborate, learn, and expand my vision. Most importantly, I create to have fun, to improvise and to surprise myself along the way!
